Floral Design Student WINS California State Floral Association’s Student Competition

csfa-2016Tracey Duncan, a current student in our Floral Design and Shop Management Certificate program, competed at the California State Floral Association’s Student Design Competition held on November 6th at The Original Los Angeles Flower Market in Los Angeles.  Students were required to create a Designer’s Choice piece that reflected the theme of the competition, Timeless Classic, as well as execute a Surprise Package design.  Twenty-one students from colleges in California participated in this competition, and we are so proud to announce that Tracey Duncan won FIRST Place AND the People’s Choice Award!  

The California State Floral Association has served the flower industry for almost seven decades, acting as a voice for florists, growers, wholesalers and retailers through governmental and industry relations. From mom and pop flower shops to growers, wholesalers and floral teachers and students, CSFA has helped its members navigate an ever-changing marketplace by uniting all segments of the industry.
