This Fall, GWC welcomed 50 new students from 22 countries: Brazil, China, Colombia, Fiji, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Mexico, Morocco, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Sweden, Syria, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.
This group photo was taken on International Student Orientation Day on August 23. Students learned about GWC’s Student Services, Student Life- including and introduction to the International Club, and how to navigate their way around the college.
The staff in the International Student Office are eager to help students transition to their new environment. This Fall they will be offering five F-1 Employment Options workshops and have started a GWC International Student Program Facebook page.
