The Golden West College Automotive Department passed its NATEF recertification with flying colors.
During their accreditation visit in November, the Team Leader pointed out that all employers who were called rated GWC students a “5” out of “5” for quality of employees. They also acknowledged that our faculty are highly certified and our tools/equipment are above industry standards.
Furthermore, 17 out of the 19 graduates from the Honda Care program were hired full time directly after graduation!
Dr. Claudia Lee, Dean of Enrollment Management and Acting Dean of CTE commended the Automotive Technology faculty, “for continuing to provide exemplary instruction and workforce training. Thank you for all the hard work and dedication you put into the program and our students!”
