Patrick Pierce graduated from Golden West College in 1994.
He received both his bachelor’s and Masters degrees from California State University Long Beach in biochemistry. He continues his association with that university as a chemistry and biology instructor. He was the recipient of the prestigious Outstanding Thesis Award in 2004.
Patrick gives back to his community by supporting the annual regional Science Olympiad competition held on the Golden West College campus. He helps grade the students and runs one of the engineering contests.
Patrick was an Alumni Pillar of Achievement recipient at the 2006 Courtyard of Honor Ceremony.
