Early Tuesday morning on December 3, over 80 High School Counselors attended a breakfast event in the Student Center at GWC. This is an annual event, which provides a networking opportunity between the High School Counselors, and GWC Counselors, faculty and staff. It is also a venue to present important information to our feeder high schools at one time.
Faculty and staff represented their departments at display tables in the back of the room. Guests visited the tables and learned more about GWC’s programs and services, collected a bag full of informational materials, and everyone was given a GWC t-shirt.
Dr. Omid Pourzanjani, Vice President of Instruction and Student Learning, served as the Master of Ceremonies for the presentation portion of the morning. Golden West Counselors Vanessa Bonilla and Stephanie Dumont presented important information about GWC’s completion and transfer guarantees, and changes in priority registration.
